I purchased this shaker for one reason: I wanted to make a large quantity of a blend of herbs and spices for a garlic-lime chicken recipe I have. It was a nuisance to make up a batch each time I wanted to prepare the recipe. So, with this shaker, I have my herb blend all prepared whenever I want to make the recipe, and the large holes accomodate all the various sizes of the different herbs. The shaker is excellent quality stainless steel, making it durable as well as attractive, and the plastic cover helps to keep the herbs fresh, and makes it easy to "shake up" the herb blend before shaking it on the chicken! I'm thinking about purchasing a few more of these to store other spice/herb blends for recipes I use frequently.Shaker - 4 oz - Large Holes
